The Proposals Focus is to reconnect individuals with their inner child. A "playground for adults" that will help heal and relax users giving them a well earned break from the daily repetition of work/stress. The design will incorporate fun and playful colors as well as interesting shapes and forms to recreate the visual effect of a playground/play area. A range of Activities will accommodate diverse ranges of people from groups to individuals. This theme creates a sense of nostalgia and familiarity for individuals from a different time in their lives. The aim is to help them connect that safety/security from younger years to this space to help them feel tranquil and welcomed. The Design is a mix of eclectic design with playful organic forms that mimic water movement to connect the interior to the exterior of the creek. Culturally significant Materials such as clay is used to further give the space an illusion of an indoor cave within water. The color's used are found within the nature of the UAE to enhance its beauty and allow its culture to shape the space. All the while, enabling users to feel at home and like they belong in the environment through the intangible design elements.
