Nikki Beach Resort & Spa comprises 170 keys of various types. Based on a total BUA of 41,000 sqm, the design features two hotel wings with views of the marina and beach from all rooms. In response to the natural Omani context, the project is designed to complement the natural shades and colours of the Yiti terrain facing the mountains, while the façade opens towards the sea with uninterrupted views of the beach and marina to the rear.
The two main contemporary organic forms that make up the hotel wings are designed with external courtyards that are overlooked by the spa, gym, and main pre-function areas, as well as the guestroom corridors. The unique shape of the building ensures all suites and guestrooms have sea and marina views. The central pool steps down through the resort, connecting all the key public spaces and villas to the F&B outlets, beach, and marina. The interior design embraces the spirit of Oman; traditionally chic, charming, and laid-back. The hotel is modelled on contemporary architecture that respects Omani vernacular design, particularly in relation to the villa and resort layout, which derives inspiration from hillside towns in the region.
