OBMI and a team of renowned international consultants designed the project to preserve and enhance the existing palace. The updated extension flows harmoniously with the land's natural slope and environment to strengthen the sense of place. The architectural style of the renovated hotel celebrates the authentic Moroccan identity, offering a luxurious and intimate feeling with sleek and contemporary elements to modernize the new hotel.
Each of the 133 rooms, suites, and penthouses pays homage to Moroccan high craftsmanship, showcasing handcrafted moucharabiehs, mosaics, and textiles by local artisans.
Tazi Palace's new design incorporates public spaces, such as Andalusian-style gardens, seven specialty restaurants and bars, and a spa that serve as must-see attractions. The repositioning of this palace into a hotel is a unique expression of the past and present that contributes to the tourism of Tangier.
