The radial layout of the lobby and the arrangement of the booths reflect free expression. The multipurpose bar is placed in the centre and opens up to the entire lobby.
Inspired by certain food ingredients, the lobby’s ceiling is designed to have many interpretations; paired with earth tones, it can be mountains or the sky.
Forms follow features but can also give rise to them, and this is also our creative concept.
CHAIMEN HUI from Chengdu is now also in Shanghai, which is both a challenge and an upgrade with an improved space. We have forgone the previous Eastern garden aesthetics and resorted to the design logic of unleashing nature and being open.
