SHH designed a new light-filled modern brasserie restaurant which would serve as a flagship F&B outlet for a private members club in London. The design intent was to create a versatile space with improved views to the grounds. The interior would appeal to families, members who want to bring their guests and offer the opportunity to accommodate small private parties without disrupting the function of the restaurant. Open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, the new restaurant would offer a commensurately high standard of food and drinks menu.

SHH produced CGI visualisations as a means of communicating the overall design, their suggested architectural interventions address daylighting, and illustrate the way in which these solutions affect atmosphere across the day.

SHH's design solution placed the kitchen and bar as a focal space, anchored around which is the lounge and the restaurant area which faces towards the gardens. The combined kitchen and bar act as the active heart of the space. The bar and lounge area, is positioned at the rear of this show kitchen, at the deepest point of the floor plan, an internal space conducive to creating an intimate atmosphere.
