Rao’s, the legendary East Harlem Italian restaurant, has opened its Rao's red doors at Loews Miami Beach. Our layered interior channels the spirit and pedigree of the original location while taking cues from the hotel’s gorgeous, 1930s style.
The plush Ultra Lounge introduces the Rao's story with its NY vibe and iconic, signed photos. The cozy, wood-paneled corridor, lined with green mohair banquettes, martini tables and a wine wall, transitions to a U-shaped lounge with bold red club chairs.
The signature bar, with striped awnings and year-round greenery, beckons from the dining room. Its leather-wrapped bar front and stylish chairs encourage guests to linger. A large service station in the center of the room adds to the sense of action and formal hospitality.
Old school Pullman booths, crystal chandeliers, and antique brass finishes complement the historic features. A mix of vintage NY and Miami artwork celebrates the link between the cities. Grasscloth wall coverings and cane screens amp up the Miami feel.
The Rao’s Room, with original fireplace, is a VIP section of sorts; it’s home away from home for regulars and functions as a private dining room, with its own small bar.
