The Seychelles is now home to Laïla, Seychelles, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, the first hotel of the indie-spirited brand in the country, providing a unique boutique experience that connects travelers with the local culture and the beauty of the destination. Our client sought a design concept that would provide guests with a true contemporary Seychellois experience while aligning with Tribute's brand guidelines. The property features 76 rooms and 8 suites, with a focus on embracing the views of the sea and the mountainous landscapes through the use of large windows. The goal is to create a brand that doesn't appeal to a specific demographic but a mindset while expanding on the village integrated concept. The resort’s interiors, feature a harmonious color scheme with bold pops of green that pay tribute to the tropical surroundings. Guests will appreciate the intricate detailing throughout the hotel, including the lobby ceiling, which reflects the shapes of the many islands in the Seychelles. Each of the resort’s bespoke guest rooms is decorated with nature-inspired aesthetics, featuring a mural of the Seychelles’ plant and traditional materials used in the island’s architecture.
