This beach resort invites guests on a journey in soulful, laidback spaces designed with wellbeing and enrichment in mind. The 100-room beachfront resort is modelled off a traditional village, with minimalist style and cubic buildings as a reference to the island's architecture, with the arrangement of the buildings as an island urban settlement. The result is a village in harmony with the surrounding bucolic landscape and the pristine beach, giving the impression that it has always been there. The spa building is at the centre of the resort, reflecting Kos as a destination of healing. Hotel amenities focus on creating communal spaces for considered experiences, including gardens, a beach club and restaurant, wellness area and a concept store. The materials are simple, local stone with dry stone construction, wood, cement mortars, and was built using a special plaster technique still used today on the nearby island of Leros - reflecting the brand’s locally-minded ethos. The spaces are curated with furniture and objects made of natural materials, complemented by pine trees, palm trees, olive trees and aromatic plants, which complete the Mediterranean image of relaxation.
