Inspired by Kuwait's unique position at the tip of the Persian Gulf, where diverse cultures meet, this project emerges as a focal point of development. Drawing from the country's rich sailing culture, boat-building, and pearl diving traditions, the newbuild hotel's spa invites guests into a haven of sensory design for rejuvenation and self-awareness. In contrast to the hotel's vibrant public spaces, the spa and indoor pool feature circular symmetry, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. Abundant natural sunlight and outdoor sun loungers in the landscape garden create a serene retreat, surrounded by lush greenery for privacy. The spa's modern yet ancient-inspired interior, with wooden paneling and stone slabs, fosters a hushed atmosphere with gently curving forms and subdued lighting. Guests are transported to a tranquil realm, where modernity and timeless elements coexist, offering a profound sense of relaxation.
