Set at the base of the Australian Alpine National Park, Lancemore Milawa is a boutique hotel framed by endless vistas of vineyards and mountains.The 23-year-old two-storey hotel now stands with A fresh design rooted in barefoot luxury.Our budget of 2M AUD had to spread far and wide. Covering 40 rooms, all public spaces,a restaurant, bar, gathering lounge spaces, a Moroccan courtyard, a sun downer rooftop and pool areas. It was our duty to ensure the hotel was entrenched in beauty and bring back the halcyon days of the property, Welcoming guests with a contemporary Mediterranean embrace.Guests enter the hotel, where shimmering mosaic counter and oversized terracotta urns offer the first hint of the earth-toned material palette to follow. The ground floor is where the hotel’s two main gathering places are located. The restaurant and its bar are adorned in Indonesian black pebbles, with heavy goddess-like curtains dividing the restaurant space to create romantic intimacy and the lounge which transitions playfully from day comfort to cocktail giddy nights, holding a crescent moon shape fireplace anchoring a sumptuous maxi sofa, and 70’s Moorish tiled tables all adding magic appeal.
