The Teewinot Lodge - A Snug Mountain Getaway
Located at the base of the Grand Targhee Ski Resort the Teewinot Lodge is nestled within the tree-studded slopes of the Teton Mountains. The Lodge, built in 1977, features charming timber cabin architecture with large pine vaulted ceilings, a centrally located stone fireplace and breathtaking views of the surrounding terrain. With over 2,500 acres of skiable terrain, Grand Targhee Resort has been home to skiers since 1969, still embracing the ‘laid back, keep it simple vibe’ it was founded on.
The Teewinot Lodge renovation will embrace the authenticity, period and energy of the Grand Targhee ski resort. The design will celebrate the aesthetic of the 1970s, integrating organic shapes, campy colors, warm wood tones, and plush, nubby textures. The vaulted, open-plan lobby will invite guests to share tales of adventure beside the crackling fire or challenge their companions to a lively game of shuffleboard. Guests will feel at home as they walk into their room, outfitted with vintage-inspired furnishings, cozy textiles, and funky colors. Embracing the history and vibe of Grand Targhee Resort.
