Delboom Eco-Resort is for a new type of Hospitality, with its particular geographical location, surrounded by lake and forest. Set on a mountainside in northern Iran, Ramsar offers 13 suites and pool villas which are seamlessly integrated into the landscape.
Environment-friendly materials and local craftsmanship were high priorities in this project. The form of the modules is inspired by the straw hats of native species commonly found in the Dalkhani forest in Ramsar. As the straw hat protects the farmers from weather conditions, the roof covering of the huts also plays the same role. Moreover, the material for the hut's roof comes from rice stem, which has been widely cultivated in this region for many years. The Wooden grid on the facade shades the external walls while filtering air through to passively cool and ventilate the structure.
