Bar Primi’s second location in Midtown, New York City is inspired by the Roman neighborhood of Testaccio. The restaurant features a vibrant character, aiming to bring the same charm and culinary excellence that New Yorkers have come to expect from the original Bowery staple. Situated near Moynihan Station, Bar Primi Penn District is set to become a focal point in the area's revival.

The design features large steel windows and doors that highlight the building's industrial past and create a connection between the interior and exterior. The eye-catching pill-shaped bar, adorned with Calacatta Viola marble and handmade glazed tiles, sets a vibrant tone upon entry. Artwork inspired by the restaurant's character adds playful accents throughout. A private dining room, enclosed by steel and glass panels, offers an intimate atmosphere, complete with graphic wallcovering and artwork. Moving through the space, an outdoor seating area features lush greenery, a marble bar, and a pergola, providing an extension of the interior’s charm. When dining at Bar Primi Penn District, guests should leave uplifted by the energy of their surroundings in a space that is unique to the neighborhood.
