The project is the largest garden-style urban hotel complex in Guangdong Province. This hotel complex has greatly improved Guangzhou’s hospitality infrastructure in supporting international conferences, and has been playing a pivotal role in bolstering the city’s initiatives to establish an international exchange center.
Drawing on the traditional Lingnan water town imagery, the hotel complex embodies the core concept of inheriting and innovating Lingnan garden architectural culture. Featuring public spaces such as entrance water yard, tree-dotted lawn, and cascading pavilion, it offers guests an immersive experience of Lingnan traditional culture.
The hotel complex is divided into eastern and western parts by the preserved runway of the old Baiyun Airport and a subway line. The master plan creates a north-south public green axis that connects the commercial facilities of the east and west hotels.The green axis, together with the Baiyun Culture Square on the north side and the Guangzhou Children's Park on the south side, forms an “urban living room”, which not only stimulates the vitality of the community but also enhances the commercial value of the hotel complex.
