The Village Supper Club, one of Wisconsin’s longest-running supper clubs, recently underwent a stunning renovation that honors its 55-year legacy and celebrates its future. This lakeside destination embodies the essence of a modern supper club. It preserves the tradition of being a welcoming place for the community to gather over cocktails, enjoy a meal, and stay for entertainment, while offering a refreshed, timeless experience that feels both familiar and new.
Welcoming everyone in suits and shorts, the design draws on its residential surroundings through the use of local materials. A striking entryway, featuring an asymmetrical hearth inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin, sets a warm and inviting tone. Guests are greeted by an expansive dining space that offers breathtaking lake views through a 26-foot-tall glass wall, with an amphitheater-style layout ensuring unobstructed views for all. Drawing on the region’s iconic "pole barns," the design combines exposed beams with elegant touches like tufted green upholstery, weathered fieldstone, and woodland-inspired wallcoverings. Select upcycled elements from the original building add a layer of emotional connection to the space.
Bio DMAC Architecture & Interiors is known for its creative and innovative architecture, interiors, product and furniture design.
