Inspired by the materials used to make mortars, such as wood, granite, and ceramic, these materials were incorporated into the design of the Kitchen of Wana Yook. To maintain a spacious feel while ensuring efficient functionality, the team closely collaborated with the interior and kitchen equipment teams to plan the kitchen layout.
The space is divided into two main zones: the hot kitchen and the cold kitchen. The cold kitchen serves as a space where customers can visit and observe the kitchen activities, as well as where chefs prepare and present dishes.
The entire counter structure is made of granite, while the ceiling is entirely wooden. Additionally, there are natural light openings in the passageway connecting to the hot kitchen, allowing sunlight to brighten the area and reduce energy consumption during the day.
