Imagine a sanctuary where you can reconnect with nature and escape daily stresses whileenjoying coffee, reading, chatting, or working. This renovation of an existing coffee shop inMonterrey, Mexico, addresses its previous shortcomings by enhancing lighting for a moreinviting atmosphere and optimizing space for greater utility. The design now harmoniouslyaligns with the brand's identity, balancing private and open areas to create a versatileenvironment for both solitude and community engagement. Drawing inspiration from theWabi-Sabi aesthetic, the new design introduces an innovative space where the mind feelsfree, open, and relieved from stress. Collaborating with a plant market, the shop offers a lush, green setting where plants are available to take home. Scientific studies show that plantsreduce sickness, stress, and anxiety while improving productivity, making this coffee shopideal for work or relaxation. With careful lighting, neutral colors, natural materials, comfortable seating, and abundant greenery, this renovation transforms the coffee shop intoa serene urban oasis.
