The Meadow’s Embrace is a luxurious retreat in Cornwall-on-Hudson, thoughtfully created to celebrate the area’s rich history, natural beauty, and welcoming community. The aim was to design a hotel that feels deeply connected to its surroundings and guests. Cornwall-on-Hudson, known for its breathtaking views, outdoor adventures, small-town charm, and peaceful escape from New York City’s fast pace, inspired the vision of blending nature, luxury, and a relaxed lifestyle into an exceptional experience.
The retreat’s design focuses on the guest, offering a bespoke experience rooted in relaxation, tranquillity, and comfort. Every space is carefully designed with its own unique character, ensuring that every detail aligns with the overarching themes of service, quality, and storytelling while maintaining practicality. This harmony between craftsmanship, functionality, and narrative brings the project to life, offering a truly unforgettable stay.
Bio I seek opportunity, knowledge and inspiration. I am passionate about design that amalgamates experimentation, craft and function. Although a work in progress, my process is inspired by personal experiences, history, context and a zest to produce socially and environmentally aware spaces - a product of a thorough process of questioning and research.
Other prizes I’ve been awarded the Utta Kravet Memorial Scholarship and the Judith Gura Institutional Award at the New York School of Interior Design both of which recognise students with a profound understanding of design history and the decorative arts.
My work from my undergraduate studies pursuing BSc (Hons) Architecture at the University of Bath has been achnowledged and published on the social media accounts of @ribaeducation and @ribabathbristol.
