Located in the heart of Ginza, Tokyo, this restaurant is a sushi dining concept that fuses Japanese aesthetics with cross-cultural influences. While honoring the essence of Japanese tradition, it offers a refined yet unpretentious experience distinct from conventional sushi spaces, creating an atmosphere where serenity and excitement coexist.
The concept centers on the fusion of Japanese and foreign aesthetic values. Moving beyond the traditional white-wood sushi interior, the space features oriental and abstract forms that evoke an exotic mood while remaining rooted in Japanese sensibility. Materials such as copper, natural wood, washi paper, and stone preserve the tactile quality of craftsmanship, while a minimalist structure is shaped by light and shadow.
Inspired by Japanese crafts and folk art, techniques such as folding and hammering are reinterpreted in a contemporary manner. The natural patina of copper expresses an appreciation for time and aging. Traditional calligraphy is reimagined through Sanskrit-inspired motifs symbolizing water and fire. Reinterpreting Edo-period sushi culture internationally, this dining space offers a sophisticated experience befitting Ginza.
