Set on the vibrant bustling Marylebone High Street, Josephine is a Bistro Parisien for the fashion forward neighbourhood; Josephine à la mode!
Drawing inspiration and details from the timeless Bistros, Brasseries and Bouillons of the gastronomic Arrondissements of Paris, we have re-imagined these from their portrayals in the dappled gouache of Manet, Cezanne and Toulouse-Lautrec. We have used these artists' palettes to create a vibrant neighbourhood Bistro as a familiar friend to locals and a destination to diners further afield in search of delicious French fare in a relaxed and convivial dining room for all.
In the traditional Parisien style, fumed timber wall panelling frames silver leaf mirrors adorned with heritage artworks. Crackled marble mosaics lead guests through to the intimate private dining room, a room of mirrors and with ceiling murals are framed by rich red velvet drapes.
Glossy anaglypta ceilings and bespoke ceiling lighting delineate the main restaurant, with deep red banquettes and linen cafe curtains offering softly diffused light into this elegant space.
