NASU is a restaurant that brings the experience of world-class Japanese dining to Poland. The venue was created within three niches of a renovated railway embankment along the Warta River, which presented unique design challenges. The first niche houses a sushi bar, perfect for evening drinks and socializing. The middle space features an open kitchen and a bar for preparing exceptional beverages, while the third offers an intimate event area with the option of a private sushi master.
The interior draws inspiration from Japanese simplicity and naturalness – Shou Sugi Ban, wood, granite, and warm tones of brick create a welcoming, elegant atmosphere. Minimalist furniture and carefully selected details, including cutlery and tableware imported from Asia, complete the character of the space. The project demanded creativity – the narrow niches and heritage restrictions required self-supporting structures, while upgraded windows brought in more natural light, highlighting darker materials and enhancing the cozy ambiance.
NASU combines Japanese minimalism with modern design, offering guests a culinary experience and a space that works perfectly both during the day and in the evening.
