The Haraks Restaurant and Terrace Design Project represents a fusion of history, culture, and contemporary design within a late 19th-century building recognized as an architectural heritage site. The project’s goal was to preserve original elements—ornamental plasterwork, a panoramic arched window, and a vintage fireplace—while integrating musicians' balcony into the interior, maintaining its historic appearance.
A distinctive feature is the integration of applied decorative art crafted by local artisans based on the custom design developed by the lead designer. Sculptural relief vases with zoomorphic motifs, inspired by ancient traditions, adorn the fireplace and each table as visual and emotional accents. On the terrace, ceramic relief objects with Crimean Tatar patterns, inspired by Brancusi, serve as central focal point. Historic elements are reinterpreted: musicians’ balcony becomes a green installation, and a real tree brings the feel of indoor garden. Design includes children's area, lounge, modular tables, and Chillout pavilion. Emphasis is placed on durability, sustainability, and local craftsmanship. Haraks offers aesthetic pleasure, inspiration, and cultural immersion.
