Lucia, designed by Preen, Inc., is a modern Afro-Caribbean restaurant in Los Angeles. The project innovates by juxtaposition. It is designed to be a Golden era referential show-stopper...a rich, immersive and opulent experience for dining, while at the same time, creating breathing room that speaks to nighttime island culture.
The project is black owned and offers an experience of fine dining via Afro-Caribbean cuisine. It overlays the culinary with music, as in the DJ framed by smoked glass kitchen window, another era reference turned to modern age. Lucia has a powerful team culture and is a forerunner in the reinvigoration of Fairfax Avenue in LA. It is LA’s most recent hotspot and is an entirely new kind of evening voyage for LA.
