The hotel’s design is a study of duality, individualistic expression, and quirky, maximalist design across varying styles – creating an intriguing study of paradoxes and surprising moments. Within the walls of the 38-story hotel and residences every space takes on a unique narrative. In totality they reflect the powerful, vibrant energy of city and lush countryside just beyond.
Design highlights include the arrival space with two-storey metal ‘tree’ hung with Freitag bags and wooden topographic shelving system that evokes Jakarta’s hillside terrain. In the spa, organic shapes and atmospheric lighting create a sophisticated cocoon for next-generation modalities. The Latin American restaurant feels like a plush European manor with exposed kitchen and garden seating. A decidedly residential feel and multi-purpose conference/game tables in meeting rooms blend business with pleasure. The pool deck takes a relaxed approach, pairing the dramatic infinity pool with eclectic furnishings and accessories placed peek-a-boo style amid a junglescape designed to cool and seclude.
