Nestled at the southern foot of Huishan Mountain, the project embraces the 400-year-old Jichang Garden across quiet alleys. Rooted in the rhythms of nature and the soul of local heritage, the design weaves Huishan Mountain’s undulating silhouette into the courtyard walls, while the fifty scenes of Jichang Garden are reimagined as modern corridors and cascading waters.
Courtyard walls subtly frame the silhouette of Longguang Pagoda, as ethereal spring mist lingers in the air. On this coveted land—“half a step to the mountains, one step to the city”—a contemporary scroll of secluded and refined living unfolds. As the city grows, the design rekindles Wuxi’s millennia-old elegance, crafting a sanctuary for the modern era.
The project unfolds an aesthetic journey—a contemplative dialogue between time and space. Drawing on the legacy of Longguang Pagoda and Jichang Garden, it carries forward local cultural heritage and unveils the essence of secluded contemporary living. Through a poetic interpretation of mountains and waters, it crafts a sanctuary in a coveted location within the city—a spiritual homeland rooted in Eastern philosophy.
