Yumenomori is our completed project in Japan, curated from Europe. In this project, we explored how contemporary architecture can naturally continue the traditional Japanese dialogue between the home, the person, and the surrounding landscape. Clean lines, restrained solutions, and a thoughtful approach to natural light create a space that evolves throughout the day and seasons — calm, sincere, and deeply connected to its environment.
The design focuses on the essence of space rather than filling it with excessive decoration. Large windows invite the landscape inside, making it an intrinsic part of the home’s living experience. The red stone, which we carefully sourced and selected, becomes a striking focal point. Used for a custom dining table, shelving, and wardrobe, it adds a dynamic, pulse-like energy. Poliform designed the kitchen, Henge lighting illuminates the spaces softly, and B&B Italia’s furniture adds understated luxury. The wooden panels and flooring were handpicked from Italy, with each sample personally selected to find the perfect shade. A particularly personal touch in the project is the extensive collection of Ukrainian art displayed throughout.
