Mövenpick Grand Hotel Wroc?aw was built in a historic building over 100 years old, which initially housed the Hotel du Nord and later became the Hotel Grand. Unfortunately, although the beautiful Art Nouveau facades of the building and its shape have been preserved, the interiors had to be completely rebuilt and equipped due to their poor technical condition. However, the architects decided to consistently seek inspiration in the original interior design by Paul Rother and in the historical architecture and interiors of Wroc?aw, led by the Main Railway Station located opposite the hotel. The second important source of inspiration was the Mövenpick brand itself, famous for its comfort and providing guests with exceptional culinary experiences. The proposed design concept was titled "Feast of Senses", which was to refer to both the diversity and high quality of the materials used, as well as the specificity of the Swiss hotel brand itself. The interiors included references to the Art Deco style, Parisian hotels and cafes, as well as appetizing shades of coffee, chocolate and champagne.
