Tempo by Hilton, Nashville celebrates the city’s art, architecture, history, and music heritage through Art Deco-inspired elements such as strong geometric lines, stylized motifs, and rich colors expressed with modern sensibility. As one of Hilton’s newest lifestyle brands, Tempo entrusted the project design team with shaping its unique vision for this hotel. The 128,435-square-foot interiors encompass public spaces, F+B outlets, 306 guestrooms, meeting rooms, and ballrooms. A storytelling-driven design unfolds through the imagined persona of “Mary Louise,” a 1970s cultural icon, with glamorous details like jewel-toned velvets, brass accents, and bespoke chandeliers. The plum-hued lobby glows with gold-finished ceiling coffers, bar stools recreate a mural through custom textile prints, and corridor lighting takes on the subtle shape of a vinyl record, a whimsical tribute to the city’s music roots. Guestrooms balance neutral backdrops with bold patterns, soundwave-inspired wallcoverings, and heritage references such as Hatch Show Print textiles. Details including eco-friendly vinyl seating, vintage pieces, and locally sourced millwork underscore a commitment to sustainability.
