This project proposes the redesign of various areas within the UDEM Residences to complement the formative model offered to students living on campus.
By applying well-being methodologies in interior design—alongside UDEM’s own Well-being Model—the initiative seeks to enrich the student experience through functional, innovative spaces that respond to their academic, social, and personal needs.
The proposal is grounded in a comprehensive analysis of the current conditions of the Residences, identifying key areas for improvement. Based on these findings, targeted solutions are presented to foster a balanced environment that encourages study, rest, and social interaction.
Beyond enhancing student well-being, this redesign also strengthens the competitiveness and appeal of UDEM Residences, positioning them as a benchmark in student housing. The integration of contemporary design strategies adds value to the institution and supports its standing as one of the region’s most prestigious universities—committed to spaces that nurture both personal and academic development.
