Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is the second hotel of the new American luxury Brand, Marriott. It is located on San Jose del Cabo in Baja California, Mexico.

The interior architecture consists of natural materials and objects from Mexican designers and artisans. The main finishes are Ocean Blue Travertine marble, and Parota wood, which adorns the walls, ceilings, pergolas, closets and doors. In addition, Silk Georgette marble was used in the walls of the rooms.

We used Parota wood to design dining rooms, kitchens, chairs, armchairs, coffee tables and headboards. The coffee and dining tables were worked in Ocean Blue Travertine marble. A combination of both materials is also present in the fixed desks, bedside tables, chests of drawers, shelves, outdoor dining areas, vanities and other fixed bathroom furniture. The textiles were worked with artisans from Oaxaca to develop custom pieces for the rooms.

In short, this is a fresh design with subtle elegance, and every expressive element invites guests to connect with nature. Each interior space becomes a mere extension of the landscape, which guests can enjoy in luxury, privacy and tranquility.
