Huizhou, as the southernmost part of Anhui Province, China, serves as the bridge between Mount Huangshan and Baiyue Mountain. With the efforts of the ancient Huizhou ancestors over the past hundreds of years, unprecedented cultural prosperity took place in craftsmanship, architecture, art, and other fields of Huizhou. Huizhou culture featured by the distinctive style and fine elegance came into being in this magical land. As the treasure of Chinese culture, it plays a big part in human culture.

“Wan Chu”, since its inception, has been carrying forward cultural heritage, and passing on cultural flavors in Huizhou, China.
To reveal Huizhou’s real appearance, the designer visited the city museum, saw the ancient folk villages, met and exchanged with the inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, and deeply investigated the ancient villages there to find the stories of grand mansions that were glorious and flourishing. Design concepts are incorporated based on modern architectural features in the design. Two years were spent on transforming the idea into reality, and an ancient Chinese village was moved into the city center.
