The main idea of the OBLIVION hotel design is to provide a seamless and immersive journey through nature. From the architecture to landscaping, the hotel, set in the heart of Saudi Arabia, is created to be a luxurious oasis completely integrated into the desert. Its structures are inspired by the shapes and colours of the surrounding rock formations and dunes, and its materials and finishes were deliberately selected to look and feel as if they were part of the landscape. The buildings are made using green building strategies and are oriented to minimize heat gain while providing outdoor views.
The resort features luxurious amenities including the spa, pool area and gourmet restaurants, while honouring local arts, foods, and customs. The use of local resources and craftsmanship further enhance a sense of place. A unique cinema experience gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy movies under the starlit sky, admiring the breathtaking scenery. The thoroughly planned layout of the hotel ensures the guests’ cherished privacy. The villas are equipped with a private outdoor lounge decks and a swimming pool integrated into the landscape making guests feel completely at one with nature.
