London’s historic National Portrait Gallery in Central London underwent a major 3-year re-development, opening in 2023 with an all-new F&B offering. Including Audrey Green, the new ground floor café.
‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ inspired, the design scheme is contemporary as a counterfoil to the beautifully restored heritage architecture and mosaic floors. A statement veined marble coffee counter with soft concrete fluting, is flanked by spectacular artworks celebrating the worlds of ballet and music.
Larry’s Bar, named after legendary Sir Laurence Olivier, is one floor below, a day through night destination serving cocktails, wine, and delicious food. Atmospheric and seductive, Larry’s is filled with intimate booths in marbled velvets and leathers, its bar designed into the fabric of the centuries’ old historic vaults.
The breath-taking art featured comes from the Gallery’s world-renowned archive. Curated by NPG gallery curator Sabina Jaskot-Gill, artist Justin Hibbs and Daisy Green owner Tom Onions. Themed into collections of iconic portraits celebrating London’s vibrant arts and music scene.
A unique, immersive drinks and dining experience for art lovers in the UK capital.
