Nestled in the heart of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, this project showcases a fusion of rich historical significance, avant-garde design, and artisanal craftsmanship intrinsic to the brand. Originally a 17th-century stable for the heroes of the Mexican Independence movement, the restoration embodies the brand's principles: innovation, quality, luxury, sustainability, and Mexican design. The “hero” of the property is, naturally, the tequila bar: strikingly clad with obsidian sourced from local agave fields, the bar is a physical reference to the surrounding land and cultural heritage of San Miguel de Allende. Taking formal cues from the existing arched openings around the property as well as the shape of the Casa Dragones bottle design. The property stands as a testament to a local history, design, and craftsmanship, offering guests an immersive experience into the sophisticated world of the brand's tequila while honoring Mexico's cultural breadth.
