Nestled on 16 acres near the Santa Cruz Mountains, Rosewood Sand Hill offers a serene sanctuary in the heart of Silicon Valley. Following the successful 2020 guestroom redesign, the Villas and Presidential Suite have been newly transformed. Inspired by the natural landscape, the design emphasizes organic textures and refined finishes—rich walnut flooring, plaster walls, larch wood paneling, marble, rattan, and layered textiles. Warm taupe plaster entryways lead to vibrant living areas with oil-stained teak screens. Powder rooms feature etched wall coverings, carved marble sinks, and sculptural sconces. Larch-paneled fireplaces framed in Calacatta Antica marble serve as focal points. A neutral palette is accented by deep green cabinetry, ceramic backsplashes, and custom lighting by California designer Brendan Ravenhill. Outdoors, local firm Arterra created native gardens, winding paths, and secluded lounges. Bedrooms feature oak four-poster beds, textured walls, and locally commissioned art. Sustainable choices and artisanal details define every space.
