Estia is conceived as a dual-identity dining space — open and sunlit for breakfast, then transitioning into an intimate fine dining environment by evening. Integrated within the Lindos Mare Resort in Rhodes, the project draws architectural inspiration from the island’s fortified heritage and the enduring spatial language of the Medieval city of Rhodes.
Materiality forms the backbone of the concept. Form and geometry speak rhythm and balance. Monolithic, stone sculptured walls echoing the surrounding landscape. Natural steel combined with brushed warm wood and natural textiles. All materials work in harmony to tell a unified story, creating a space that feels inspirational yet comfortably laid-back.
The guest experience unfolds as a sequence of spatial transitions — light filtering across textured surfaces in the morning, and controlled, atmospheric illumination shaping intimate dining moments at night. The environment is designed to feel both grounded and elevated: a contemporary interpretation of heritage where material honesty, crafted details, and calibrated ambience foster slow, meaningful encounters with space, food, and place.
