Born in Serbia, Yelena Petrovic is holding a Masters’s Degree in Architecture, graduated from the University of Belgrade, Serbia in 2001. Petrovic relocated to Kuwait in 2007, where she started working on a hospitality project then to Dubai in 2011 which opened new professional horizons with large-scale properties. Since she has become an expert in hotel Design and Brand Standards of groups like Hilton, Regency, Jumeirah Hotels, Kempinski Group, Wyndham, IHG, Marriott and Starwood, Steigenberger.
So far, Yelena has worked on major projects such as the Regency Kuwait (5* property), Jumeirah Messilah Beach Resort & Spa (5* property), Waldorf Astoria Palm Dubai (5* property), the W Dubai, Westin and St.Regis (involvement in Concept and Schematic design) all 5* property as well as Marriott Hotel Bur Dubai, Holiday Inn Maktoum airport Dubai (4* property), Hatta off-grid boutique hotel, Caesars Palace and various brands of the Hilton Group. Petrovic was the Head of Design, looking at Interior Design and Architecture at Meraas Hospitality, Dubai.
In 2022, Petrovic moved to the Netherlands and joined Omnam Group as Design Manager.
Yelena’s passion is luxury hotel design; she describes “Luxury” as being focused on comfort, elegance, and custom touch to embody the highest pedigree of interior design.
