Traxworks Hospitality / Founder

The future of hospitality design is experiential, emotional, and deeply rooted in place.  That’s where I choose to work – I design places that people travel across the world to feel.

For more than 30 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of luxury, lifestyle, and destination-driven hospitality, shaping environments where landscape, culture, and emotion come together to tell a singular story. My work is guided by a belief that great design is not decoration, but a form of storytelling that deepens connection to place and elevates the human experience.

Most recently, I led global design at Hilton, helping transform a respected legacy brand into a more contemporary, expressive, and design-forward global portfolio. During that journey, the platform expanded from 8 brands to more than 25, and from roughly 3,000 hotels to nearly 10,000 destinations across 130+ countries. Along the way, our work was recognized with numerous international design awards, affirming the power of thoughtful, well-led creative vision at scale.

My experience spans ultra-luxury resorts, lifestyle brands, remote and exotic destinations, adaptive reuse, and highly experimental projects, including contributing hospitality thinking to the design of a next-generation low Earth orbital space station. From jungle lodges and desert retreats to urban icons and orbital habitats, my focus remains constant: creating places that feel authentic, immersive, and unforgettable.

As I begin a new chapter with Traxworks Hospitality Collaborative, I’m drawn to projects where nature is a collaborator, where luxury is quiet and intentional, and where design reveals the soul of a destination rather than overpowering it. I’m working on several new brand launches, projects in luxury resort and safari lodge design, partnering with visionary owners, brands, and studios to create experiences that linger long after the journey ends.
