Samantha occupies a unique place in hospitality development. Over the past 15 years, she has delivered design advisory and interior design services in excess of US$25 billion, working alongside UHNWI clients and hospitality visionaries to create integrated resorts that have proved game-changing for their country. In the process, she has commissioned and collaborated with the elite amongst architects and artists, chefs and luxury brands to deliver remarkable guest experiences while steering project programmes to a successful conclusion. In addition, Sam has used her profound understanding of the power of design in reviving the fortunes of restaurants and bars and in creating new dining and events destinations around the world.
An Australian national and a global nomad, Sam has spent much of her career in Asia. Here, she played a pivotal role in the development of Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Solaire Resort & Casino in Manila and Cotai Central in Macau. In 2016, she established her own interior design company, Habitus Design Group, to complement the skill sets of the international hospitality designers with whom she continues to work. With offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, London and Denmark, and experience of living and working in Europe, the Middle East and Australia as well as in Asia, her network is worldwide.
