Kristina Zanic has spent four decades proving that luxury has no formula. She founded her first firm at 26, grew it into a multinational practice, and in 2012 launched her namesake studio in Dubai on a single conviction: no two projects should look alike, because no two clients are alike.
The practice runs five offices in Dubai, London, Riyadh, Bangkok and Clark, with more than 200 designers and over 150 projects in more than 25 countries. It ranks seventh on Interior Design magazine’s International Giants of Design list and is the only studio to hold Hospitality Design Firm of the Year at the Commercial Interior Design Awards three years running, among more than 75 awards. In 2026 she received the Entrepreneurship Award at the Croatian Women of Influence Awards.
She chaired the AHEAD awards, judged Maison & Objet’s Women&Design Awards, and sits on the jury of the Omran Design Awards in Baghdad. She mentors young designers through a funded exchange program that brings talent from the Philippines to Dubai, and lectures at universities across the UAE, Thailand and Bahrain. A traveller and collector with more than 200 artworks across her homes, she believes every wall should have something to say.
